Lone Robin

I barely remember taking this photo that I'll share as our Free Wallpaper this week. But when this one came up on my desktop as my own wallpaper with the program that sets them randomly, I knew I just had to share it. This photo of a lone American robin just seemed to be perfect there on my computer's monitor. I really like this one a lot.

Let's talk no further. My tale has been told. Let's get to the photo, before we get old.

The Everyday Adventurer is my nature blog where I tell stories of my daily nature hikes and the things I encounter, with more photos like this one. Rat Tales is where I get to share some of the fiction that I write. No photos there though, just some very cool stories.

  1. When in deep wooods I have seen a few stragglers, must not care for Mexico, or too tired to travel.

This is one of those Michigan American robins. These guys like to stay in Michigan almost all year 'round.
