Peaceful Picnic

There was no one else around when I found this little secluded picnic area. The table is there all by itself. It was just so picture perfect when I saw this place. To the left of the picture it opens up to a good sized lake. You can see the sunlight streaming down from that direction down onto the picnic table. So peaceful.

This is the kind of place I really love, because being alone is such a special thing to me. This is a place where anyone could sit in quiet contemplation. or maybe a few people could have a peaceful picnic all to themselves. This place seems like a special, charmed place where magic can happen.

The Everyday Adventurer is my nature blog where I tell stories of my daily nature hikes and the things I encounter, with more photos like this one. Rat Tales is where I get to share some of the fiction that I write. No photos there though, just some very cool stories.

  2. I love solitary places like this...I'm maybe a little less keen to share them with people than you though in the fear that next time I visit my special place it will have been invaded by another!!
