Honeybee on Rosinweed

The Free Wallpaper this time is of a Honeybee on Rosinweed. It was contributed by Steve from Out On The Prairie. I hope to be able to bring you more from Steve, because he does very good work. Leave him a comment, and let him know what you think. Steve takes nature photos exclusively, and he doesn't leave home without his camera.

Let's let Steve tell about this photo in his own words.

"This is a honeybee sipping nectar on Rosinweed, taken at Pioneer Ridge Nature Center south of Ottumwa, Iowa in the SE corner of the state. This is a large prairie and woodland preserve with lots of beauty and history surrounding it."

  1. There is something about a yellow flower that brightens one's spirit. I haven't been to Ottumwa in more years than I will admit. It is such lovely country,
