Today we have a list of the top ten new species of 2010. This list was compiled by The International Institute for Species Exploration at Arizona State University and an international committee of taxonomists.

Common name: Komac's golden orb spider - Small Favor
Phallus drewesii - Fanged Fish
Danionella dracula
Common name: Dracula minnow - Short-circuited Electric Fish
Gymnotus omarorum
Common name: Omars' banded knifefish - Killer Sponge
Chondrocladia (Meliiderma) turbiformis

I saw the programme on Attenborough's Pitcher it was really good..I went over and checked out the site...wish there had been something from Britain in the list!!
