Pond Reflection

This week's Free Wallpaper was contributed by Steve from Out On The Prairie. You may recognize his name here. He wrote a story here last week that was very good. Steve takes nature photos exclusively, and he doesn't leave home without his camera. That's the kind of dedication I like.

This photo is of a reflection in a small pond found in Geode State Park, near New London, Iowa in the southeast corner of the state. Geode is the state rock of Iowa. The photo was shot with a Sony DSC-H1. Steve got this one while on a hiking trip where he was shooting for a virtual tour site he contributes to for the parks.

If you would like to see more of Steve's photos, and his excellent stories, you can find them at his blog, Out On The Prairie, and even more of his photos on his Flickr site. He writes fiction that is based on the lives of his family and friends. He interviewed them to get the essence of their experiences with nature and life on the prairie.
