In this video a mother duck is trying to get her babies across a busy street. Not only are the speeding cars a danger, but some of her babies fall through a sewer grate attempting to follow. How will they escape! Are the poor babies doomed to perish in the dark sewer? What will the mother duck do? Who will help this distressed family?
This is one suspenseful situation for these ducks in peril. I would normally just come right out and tell you the outcome of this story, but you'll just have to watch the video to find out what happens. It makes the video so much better.
...And don't be so sure there will be a happy ending. You'll have to watch to find out!

Something a bit like that happened to me once. I didn't fall down a manhole, we were following a bunch of ducklings as went through a park, chasing away crows and eventually helping the mother through a gate and toward the water. It was lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have a duck crossing just a little ways away on a four lane street. They sometimes slow traffic a bit with the parade.
ReplyDeletethat was really nice...I hate it when the wildlife is crossing the road and we have many signs in the uk which tell you to beware of different animals crossing. In one place they even made a tunnel for the animals which needed to cross a busy road every year to reduce casualties. It's nice to see people helping the animals!!
